This week we are hosting a "No Seat Left Unfilled Week!" We'd like to have all of our students in attendance the rest of this week! After back to back 3 day weekends, we have had a significant number of students gone on our first day back to start the week! In order to keep students moving in the right direction, we need them here every day, so let's get this started tomorrow with 100% attendance!
We know there are going to be days where students don't feel well or have appointments. On those days, if you could please be sure to call in to the office at 316-794-4080 to let us know your student will not be at school, we'd greatly appreciate it!

KAY is sponsoring our annual Daddy/Daughter Dance on Sunday, October 1st this year! We would love to see as many dads and daughters as possible for this fun event. Our theme this year is Under the Sea and we have a lot of fun planned. See the flier for more details.

The Imagination Library of Kansas is Now Statewide!
The magic of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is open to any Kansas child from birth to their 5th birthday. Children receive free, age-appropriate books mailed directly to their home every month. Our goal is for every Kansas child to receive high-quality books that will nurture a love for reading and continue to enrich their lives throughout school and beyond! Fall portraits will be taken by Strawbridge at Earhart Elementary on Wednesday, August 30th. All students will have their picture taken for student ID cards, Skyward, and yearbook purposes.
If you are interested in ordering pictures, an order form is attached with ordering instructions at the bottom. A paper copy will be coming home with your student by the end of the week.
If ordering online, go to www.strawbridge.net. Click “Order Pictures” and enter the following code: FM424421. When entering student information, be sure to enter the student's name as it is on file at the school. If paying with cash or check, please send the envelope to school with your student on picture day.

There will be a flier in your student’s backpack tonight and is also attached in this email. The PTO does receive a portion back from all sales. Feel free to share with your friends and family!

We want to ensure that all students have a safe way to get home at the end of the school day. Please contact the office before 3:00pm if there is a transportation change for your student. Also, please make sure that teachers are aware of how your student will be getting home everyday and, when possible, establish a consistent routine for end of day pick up. This will help staff get your student to the correct spot at the end of the day. Thank you!
