It is with great pleasure that we are introducing the first member of the Goddard Virtual School Class of 2025, Miss Hannah Baumgartner. Having been a GVS student since the spring semester of her sophomore year, Baumgartner completed all of her high school graduation requirements on October 8. According to Baumgartner the best parts of virtual schooling included working on her own schedule while being employed and utilizing self-motivation to pace herself to graduate early. The most impactful course Baumgartner completed was Financial Literacy, a course which presented valuable money knowledge including taxes, budgeting, and savings. She would definitely recommend all students complete this course. Baumgartner’s career goal is to become a radiological technologist. She plans to attend Hutchinson Community College in the Fall of 2025 to pursue an Associate’s Degree. Her ultimate employment would be in a larger city’s hospital environment. Hannah and her family will be celebrating her graduation with a trip to Vietnam to visit family.
