It was an honor to host a celebration for Veteran's Day. The 3rd grade class, led by our music teacher Mrs. Mann, performed several patriotic songs. It was amazing and we had a lot of families and veterans in attendance. Thank you for your service from the staff and students at Amelia Earhart Elementary School.

Demi Doan, a former 4th-grade student of Shelly Sanders at Amelia Earhart Elementary, won 3rd place in the KSDE Great Ideas in Education art contest. The annual contest encourages students to use their creativity by entering an illustration conveying a visual representation of a theme or idea for the KSDE annual conference. The contest is open to Kansas K-12 public and private school students. Demi's amazing work was chosen out of 500 students across Kansas. We are so proud of her and her talents.
